BiVisc (cohesive and dispersive)

BiVisc™ is an ophthalmic viscosurgical device (OVD) that offers both cohesive and dispersive properties for use as a surgical aid in anterior segment surgery. It’s cohesive properties imitate the elastic effect of cohesive OVDs providing exceptional space maintenance and easy removal while the dispersive characteristics of BiVisc™ mimic the low surface tension of Dispersive OVDs, ideal for coating tissue.

  • Optimise outcomes with both cohesive and dispersive properties in a single solution
  • Dispersive properties for optimum cell protection of intraocular tissues
  • Cohesive properties for deep anterior chamber space creation and ease of removal
  • Suitable for the entire surgical procedure

  • 2% Sodium Hyaluronate / 3% Chondroitin Sulfate

  • 1.0ml/0.55ml: supplied in a luer-lok glass syringe with a 23G cannula in a medical grade peel pouch
